Lyrics

I Sing About Things

I sing about things that I think about
I sing about things that I think about

I sing about airplanes and I sing about boats
I sing about letters and little love notes
I sing about things that I think about

I sing about toys and a little red wagon
I sing about monsters and a fire breathing dragon
I sing about things that I think about

I sing about itches and I sing about scratches
I sing about my old jeans and their patches
I sing about things that I think about

        I sing... about those things
        I sing... about those things
I sing about things that I think about

I sing about my two brothers
I'd sing about a sister if I had one, but I don't
I sing about things that I think about

I sing about gerbils and I sing about hamsters
I sing about spiders and dust bunny dancers
I sing about things that I think about

I sing about dogs and pet canaries
I sing about big words from dictionaries
I sing about things that I think about

I sing about things that come into my head
Late at night while I'm lying in bed
I sing about things that I think about

        I sing... about these things
        I sing... about these things
I sing about things that I think about

        I sing... about these things
        I sing... about these things
I sing about things that I think about
I sing about things that I think about
I sing about things that I think about
        Ooooh ooh ooooh...

Poison Ivy

My brother and I play carefully
Avoiding any shiny leaves of three,
But my brother got it on his knee
And now he moans in misery.

Look out for the poison ivy!
There's never any there that I see.
Look out for the poison ivy!
Oh oh oh oh  Oh oh oh oh
Look out for the poison ivy!

My mom glopped him up so it won't spread
And told him to wear big mittens to bed.
If he scratches I'm s'posed to tell,
Every five minutes I have to yell...

Look out for the poison ivy!
There's never any there that I see.
Look out for the poison ivy!
Oh oh oh oh  Oh oh oh oh
Look out for the poison ivy!

Now, with no big brother out to play with me,
I sat beneath an oak tree patiently...
I feel an itchy feeling come over me.
Now I've got poison ivy where I can't see!

Look out for the poison ivy!
There's never any there that I see.
Look out for the poison ivy!
Oh oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh
Look out for the poison ivy!

Look out for the poison ivy!
There's never any there that I see.
Look out for the poison ivy!
Oh oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh
Look out for the poison ivy!

Mosquito

Oh, I can't get to sleep
No, I can't get to sleep
No, I can't get to sleep
With that mosquito buzzin' 'round my bed

In the dark I hear it buzzin'
Think it's landed on my knee*

*SLAP*

I think I got it that time
I think I got it that time
I think I got it that time

(Last time only)
I think I got it that time!

*Replace each time with a different
body part. End with 'nose', and
hold nose while singing.

A Frog Named Alexander

There was a frog, his name was Alexander
His best friend was a salamander
They loved to play in the babbling brook
Hoppin? and a-slippin? on the rocks and the gook.

Every day the sun shone bright,
The air was hot all day and all night.
Alexander and his salamander friend
Hoped this weather would never end.  Oh...

There was a frog, his name was Alexander
His best friend was a salamander
They loved to play in the babbling brook
Hoppin? and a-slippin? on the rocks and the gook.

One day when they came to play
All the water had gone away.
Alexander frowned and then he sighed,
His friend the salamander almost cried.

Uh oh, what are they gonna do?
No slippin' no sliding, and no splashing, too.
They started home on down the lane, WAIT!...
Up in the sky, it looks like rain.  Oh...

There was a frog, his name was Alexander
His best friend was a salamander
They loved to play in the babbling brook
Hoppin? and a-slippin? on the rocks and the gook.

The rain came down and tickled their noses,
Tickled their backs, and tickled their toes-es.
The rain filled the brook again
For Alexander and his friend.  Oh...

There was a frog, his name was Alexander
His best friend was a salamander
They loved to play in the babbling brook
Hoppin? and a-slippin? on the rocks and the gook.
Hoppin' and slippin' on the rocks and the gook------

The Dust Bunny Waltz

Last Saturday morning I woke up too early,
Too early to turn on T.V.
Looked under my bed for something to do,
But the dust under there made me sneeze!
And to my surprise the dust danced around in the breeze!

The Dust Bunny Waltz, lighter than air.
The Dust Bunny Waltz, without a care.
The Dust Bunny Waltz, twirling and swirling around.

I watched as they glided in circles and swirls
And decided to give each a name;
There's Harvey with blue thread, and Silvia too,
Annette, Eddie and Charlemagne!
Enrique and Grace led them all as they danced the refrain!

The Dust Bunny Waltz, lighter than air.
The Dust Bunny Waltz, without a care.
The Dust Bunny Waltz, twirling and swirling around.

But I hear the sound of our new vaccuum cleaner
The old one was mad, but this one sounds meaner.
So I hide away all of my new little friends
And keep them all safe till the terrible cleaning ends.
Then out of my shoebox of special collections,
A puff sends them off in many directions
		Dancing once again...to

The Dust Bunny Waltz, lighter than air.
The Dust Bunny Waltz, without a care.
The Dust Bunny Waltz, twirling and swirling around.

	Twirling and swirling around.
	Twirling and swirling around.
	Ooh Ooh Ooh.

Big Bad Monster

In the middle of the night I thought I heard a noise
Coming from my closet in between my toys.
Oh, what should I do if my worst fears are true?
A great green slimy creature nibbling on my shoe!

Oh, there's a BIG (Grrr) BAD (Grrr) Monster in my closet!
Oh, there's a BIG (Grrr) BAD (Grrr) Monster in my closet!
Oh, there's a BIG (Grrr) BAD (Grrr) Monster in my closet!
And I'm not letting him out until the morning!

I wonder if he's trying on all my best clothes, if he
Puts on my shoes I hope he ties neat bows!
And what about my puppets and my stamp collection, too?
I hate to think of all that stuff smeared with slimy goo!

With all that going on how can I get some sleep?
I need to find a way to quiet that big creep.
What if I could feed him, slide some bread under the door.
But if he ever falls asleep...I just hope he doesn't snore!

        I'm not letting him out
        I'm not letting him out
I'm not letting him out until the morning

Baby's In The Cradle

Baby?s in the cradle fast asleep
Bringing so much joy for us to keep
Soon he will awaken and off he?ll go
        We?ll share love and laughter
        and watch him grow.

Teach him how to wonder while his eyes are bright as snow
Teach him to ask questions for the things he wants to know
Teach him how to live in love and how to make a stand
But most importantly, teach him that he can.

Baby?s in the cradle fast asleep
Bringing so much joy for us to keep
Soon he will awaken and off he?ll go
        We?ll share love and laughter
        and watch him grow.

(Instrumental)

Paint The Zoo

The animals wanted to paint the zoo
But they began to argue
They couldn't agree on what colors to use
To make theirs different from the other zoos
So they all sat... down.

        Oh, oh, what to do,
Don't know what color to paint the zoo.
        Oh, oh, what to do,
Don't know what color to paint the zoo.

"Blue, like the sky," said the Mockingbird.
"Grey," said the Elephant, "like the herd."
"Green," said the Snake, "like the summer grass."
"Red," said the antelope, "will give it class.
And the Bear said...."Brown."

        Oh, oh, what to do,
Don't know what color to paint the zoo.
        Oh, oh, what to do,
Don't know what color to paint the zoo.

The Zebra said, "Those would all be mistakes.
Black and white stripes is what it takes."
?Black," said the Tiger, "with stripes of orange hue."
Chameleon said, "Any color will do."
And the Bear said...."Brown."

        Oh, oh, what to do,
Don't know what color to paint the zoo.
        Oh, oh, what to do,
Don't know what color to paint the zoo.

The Lion said, "Polka dots of pink and blue,
Because I'm the king of the jungle!"
But up hopped a little Kangaroo
Who said, "You're not the king at the zoo!"
And the Bear said...."Brown."

        Oh, oh, what to do,
Don't know what color to paint the zoo.
        Oh, oh, what to do,
Don't know what color to paint the zoo.

Without an agreement, the zoo would stay white
So they talked and talked long into the night
Early in the morning, just about sunrise
They came up with a compromise
And the Bear said...."It?s about time!?

        Oh, oh, what to do
Now we know what colors to paint the zoo.
        Oh, oh, what to do
Now we know what colors to paint the zoo.

Each cage was painted to its owner's wish
There was even some seaweed painted for the Fish
The Lion got his pink and blue polka dots,
The Zebra his stripes, the Leopard his spots
And the Bear got....brown.

        Oh, oh, what to do
Now we know what colors to paint the zoo.
        Oh, oh, what to do
Now we know what colors to paint the zoo.

Be Nice To Spiders

Be nice to spiders and they?ll be nice to you
Cause if you do, I know you'll like
        The wonderful things they do
They keep away those pesky bugs
Creepy crawly things in your rugs,
        Oh yes they do!

Don?t worry 'bout their little webs, they keep them neat and clean
In case a wand'ring insect falls into their dinner scene
Mosquitoes, beetles, gnats and bees to us are pesky beasts
But on these tasty critters, the friendly spider feasts, So...

Be nice to spiders and they?ll be nice to you
Cause if you do, I know you'll like
        The wonderful things they do
They keep away those pesky bugs
Creepy crawly things in your rugs,
        Oh yes they do!

Now a fly may get on your food when you sit down to eat
And leave those disgusting germs with his little feet
You can wave your hands and shout, but he'll come back for more
You need a friendly spider to even up the score!  So...

Be nice to spiders and they?ll be nice to you
Cause if you do, I know you'll like
        The wonderful things they do
They keep away those pesky bugs
Creepy crawly things in your rugs,
        Oh yes they do!

Be nice to spiders and they?ll be nice to you
Cause if you do, I know you'll like
        The wonderful things they do
They keep away those pesky bugs
Creepy crawly things in your rugs,
        Oh yes they do!

Pumpkin Song

I'm a little pumpkin seed Waiting to be planted
I don't look like much, but I'm Wonderful inside.
Oh, It takes time, it takes time, it takes time.

I'm a little pumpkin vine Waiting to be watered
I'm in good soil, with lots of sun Growing strong with pride.
Oh, It takes time, it takes time, it takes time.

I'm an orange pumpkin blossom Waiting for some pollen
If a bee will come along, I'll let her come inside.
Oh, It takes time, it takes time, it takes time.

I'm a little green pumpkin Waiting to be noticed
Tucked away under the leaves It's hard to catch your eye.
Oh, It takes time, it takes time, it takes time.

And I will grow in the sunshine,  drink in the rain
Glad to be a part of every day
Part of the mystery, part of the chain
And part of all the joy of nature's way

I'm a big orange pumpkin Waiting for the harvest
If I'm lucky, I will be Someone's special prize.
Oh, It takes time, it takes time, it takes time.

I'm the chosen pumpkin Waiting to be carved up
A Jack o lantern I will be With candle light inside.
Oh, It takes time, it takes time, it takes time.

On a front porch glowing, I'm Smiling in the darkness
What a lifetime this has been It's time to say good bye.
Oh, It takes time, it takes time, it takes time.

And as you grow in the sunshine,  drink in the rain
Be glad to be a part of every day
Part of the mystery, part of the chain
And part of all the joy of nature's way

Gerbil in My Pajamas

The "Under Where?" Song

I lost my pet mouse, Felix, from my pocket at the store
The cashier saw him scampering across the crowded floor
She jumped on to the counter and held on to her hair
I said, "Don't worry any ma'am, I see him under there!"

"Under where?" she cried, "Under where?
Please tell me tell me, tell me, under where?
Under where?" she cried, "Under where?
On second thought, don't tell me, just get it out of there!"

I lost my pet iguana somewhere in my house
My mother was so frightened you'd think I lost my mouse
My Mom jumped on the sofa, and then hopped to the stairs
I said, "Don't worry any Mom, I see him under there!"

"Under where?" she cried, "Under where?
Please tell me tell me, tell me, under where?
Under where?" she cried, "Under where?
On second thought, don't tell me, just get it out of there!"

I lost my pet snake, Slimy, which I brought to show at school
The teacher nearly fainted, the kids thought it was cool
The teacher let me look for him while she stood on a chair
I said, "Don't worry any, Teacher, I see him under there!"

"Under where?" she cried, "Under where?
Please tell me tell me, tell me, under where?
Under where?" she cried, "Under where?
On second thought, don't tell me, just get it out of there!"

I lost Weber, my spider, while riding on a bus
The lady sitting next to me put up an awful fuss
While swinging from the luggage rack demanding back her fare
I said, "Don't worry any ma'am, I see him under there!"

"Under where?" she cried, "Under where?
Please tell me tell me, tell me, under where?
Under where?" she cried, "Under where?
On second thought, don't tell me, just get it out of there!"

Are We There Yet?

        Are we there yet?
        Are we there yet?
Tell me, tell me, tell me,
How much longer will it take?
You told me we were almost there,
But we aren't getting anywhere, I'll bet.
Tell me, tell me, tell me
        Are we there yet?

I can't sit still much longer.
I need to exercise.
I've been sitting here so long,
I'm growing old and wise.

        Are we there yet?
        Are we there yet?
Tell me, tell me, tell me,
How much longer will it take?
You told me we were almost there,
But we aren't getting anywhere, I'll bet,
Tell me, tell me, tell me,
        Are we there yet?

I can't stand this boredom,
I hope we get there soon.
We've been traveling for so long,
We should be to the moon!

        Are we there yet?
        Are we there yet?
Tell me, tell me, tell me,
How much longer will it take?
You told me we were almost there,
But we aren't getting anywhere, I'll bet.
Tell me, tell me, tell me,
        Are we there yet?

I've brought crayons and paper,
Magazines and comics, too,
And video games and travel games,
But nothing I want to do.

        Are we there yet?
        Are we there yet?
Tell me, tell me, tell me,
How much longer will it take?
You told me we were almost there,
But we aren't getting anywhere, I'll bet.
Tell me, tell me, tell me,
        Are we there yet?

I know I'll have a real good time
              When we get there,
And I know you told me not to whine,
So I'll sing it: I've got to know...

        Are we there yet?
        Are we there yet?
Tell me, tell me, tell me,
How much longer will it take?
You told me we were almost there,
But we aren't getting anywhere, I'll bet.
Tell me, tell me, tell me,

        Are we there yet?
        Are we there yet?
Tell me, tell me, tell me,
How much longer will it take?
You told me we were almost there,
But we aren't getting anywhere, I'll bet.
Tell me, tell me, tell me,

        Are we there yet?
        Are we there yet?
Tell me, tell me, tell me,
How much longer will it take?
You told me we were almost there,
But we aren't getting anywhere, I'll bet.
Tell me, tell me, tell me,
        Are we there yet?

Happy In Their Habitat

        They're happy in their habitat
Where they live is where it's at
I hope you will remember that
        They're happy in their habitat

If I find a speckled newt
Hiding by a mossy root
I just want to look because I'm curious
I know that I should leave him there
So I put him back with care
Speckled newts need mossy roots. It's true because...

        They're happy in their habitat
Where they live is where it's at
I hope you will remember that
        They're happy in their habitat

If I find a water snake
Swimming in a mountain lake
I just want to look because I'm curious
I don't know much about its care
So I think I'll leave him there
Water snakes need mountain lakes. It's true because...

        They're happy in their habitat
Where they live is where it's at
I hope you will remember that
        They're happy in their habitat

              They belong where they belong
Like a note in this song
              What could be wrong
Where nature put them they belong...

        They're happy in their habitat
Where they live is where it's at
I hope you will remember that
        They're happy in their habitat

If I find a big bull frog
Hopping near a swamp or bog
I just want to look because I'm curious
For me it's just a place to roam
But a wetland is his home
Big bull frogs need swamps and bogs. It's true because...

        They're happy in their habitat
Where they live is where it's at
I hope you will remember that
        They're happy in their habitat

        They're happy in their habitat
Where they live is where it's at
I hope you will remember that
        They're happy in their habitat

Exercise

When you wake up in the morning
Do you drag yourself from bed?
Does your brain feel kind of mushy?
Does your body feel like lead? You've got to...

               Exercise when you rise!
               Start your day with vigor!
               Your body will feel energized,
And your muscles will get bigger!

What you get is a healthy heart,
It's the only one  you've got!
Plenty of sleep and eatin' smart
Sure do help a lot! You've got to...

               Exercise when you rise!
               Start your day with vigor!
               Your body will feel energized,
And your muscles will get bigger!

'Stead of sittin' there watching T.V.
Get up and show what you're made-a!
Who wants to spend their life sittin' around
Bein' a couch po-ta-ta!? You've got to...

               Exercise when you rise!
               Start your day with vigor!
               Your body will feel energized,
And your muscles will get bigger!

You don't have to go out and buy
An expensive home gymnasium
'cause putting one together
Is enough to drive you crazy...um. You've got to...

               Exercise when you rise!
               Start your day with vigor!
               Your body will feel energized,
And your muscles will get bigger!

Baby Shoes

When I was not quite a one year old
My Mommy said, “I don’t want those tootsies cold.”
She took out a box and said, “I have good news”
“I bought you a pair of baby shoes!”

Baby shoes, Baby shoes Cutist little pair of baby shoes
Baby shoes, Baby shoes Cutist little pair of baby shoes

It was then I began to learn to walk
And just about then I learned to talk
So I started on my not-so-terrible-twos
Walking around in my baby shoes.

Baby shoes, Baby shoes Cutist little pair of baby shoes
Baby shoes, Baby shoes Cutist little pair of baby shoes

My feet grew so fast, I outgrew that first pair
My Mom tucked them away in the attic somewhere
And I forgot about them for a while...

It’s been a few years now I’m all grown
I have a little boy of my own
Grandma came to visit...you guess the news...
She brought him that pair of baby shoes!

Guinea Pig Lullaby

Now the long day is over
We’re tired from all of our play
No more to say, so we’re carried away...
			on your Guinea Pig Lullaby

Softly you croon in the dark of my room
The Guinea Pig Lullaby

Now we are sharing these moments
Together we begin the night
My cares float along as you sing your song...
			The Guinea Pig Lullaby

Softly you croon in the dark of my room
The Guinea Pig Lullaby

You rustle your papers
While you plan your capers
And I know you’re feeling alright
And I’ve been told I need quiet
But I don’t think I’ll try it
Because I would miss you at night ...As

Softly you sing as I slumber
As a dream fills my mind’s eye
Carry me to a place far and new...
			with your Guinea Pig Lullaby

	(instrumental)

You rustle your papers
While you plan your capers
And I know you’re feeling alright
And I’ve been told I need quiet
But I don’t think I’ll try it
Because I would miss you at night ...As

Softly you croon in the dark of my room
The Guinea Pig Lullaby
Softly you croon in the dark of my room
The Guinea Pig Lullaby

Wake Up, Dad!

Every Saturday Dad depends on me
To get him up so cheerfully.
So, wake up, Dad, it's time to play.
"Rise and shine," you always say!
It's already six-thirty, no time to waste
Get up, get dressed, grab the toothpaste.

I got out your clothes, they're on the chair,
Pants and shirt, and under there
Are your socks, but there's one color of each,
'cause they're the only ones that I could reach.
Aren't you proud of me for what I did?
You always say I'm such a good kid.

I made your breakfast, I don't mean to boast
Made it really fancy, OOPS! Orange juice ON toast!
You can add some more sugar if you want it sweet,
Come on, Dad, it's morning, you need to eat.
It'll give you energy to start the day
After all it's hard work, us two at play.

So wake up, Dad, it's time to get crackin'
There you go, Dad, on your feet, no slackin'
Dad, you want to shave and use the bathroom?
Dad, that's the closet! Dad, that's a broom!
I get the feeling you're not quite awake.
What?? It's only FOUR-THIRTY, oops, my mistake!

Accidents Will Happen

        Accidents will happen
        That's a guarantee
But why does it always seem....they're happening to me?

Woke up this morning when I fell out of bed
Wouldn't've been so bad except for the lump on my head
After all the ice melted down my face
I looked in the mirror and that lump was still in place
So, I tell my friends my brain's grown a size
And I hope they're not too jealous now that I?m so wise.

        Accidents will happen
        That's a guarantee
But why does it always seem....they're happening to me?

Poured myself some grape juice; it spilled on my new shirt
And after begging mom to buy it, now don't I feel like dirt
Rushed it to the washer so it won't be stained
But after several washings those purple spots remained
So, I tell all my friends that it's a brand new style
My favorite shirt, but I'd loan it for a while.

        Accidents will happen
        That's a guarantee
But why does it always seem....they're happening to me?

Can it be with all my friends that none have accidents?
When I think about it, it doesn't make much sense
Maybe they have troubles and struggle like me
To cover up their accidents with creativity...

        Accidents will happen
        That's a guarantee
But why does it always seem....they're happening to me?

Left all my baseball cards on my bedroom window sill
The wind blew them into the yard where they are blowing still
Out the door I ran to get them before they ran away
And who showed up at my house then, my schoolmates set to play
So, I tell all my friends that it's part of a game
And they could help me win if they pick up just the same.

Monsters On Parade

Cactus Cowboy

        Oh, I'm a cactus cowboy
        The desert is my home
        I'm a cactus cowboy
Cross the desert I will roam...all by myself

Traded my cattle for a rattlesnake
Make my camp in a dried up lake
Fry me up a dinner of cactus steak
Whistlin' the tune of "Sweet Baby Jake"...for goodness sake

My pet vulture is a friend indeed
My curly-tailed lizard is a curious breed
If I want to know the weather, watch a tumbleweed
I have no watch 'cause I have no need...to tell the time

        Oh, I'm a cactus cowboy
        The desert is my home
        I'm a cactus cowboy
Cross the desert I will roam...all by myself

Early in the mornin' it's time to rise
Head for the shade when the sun gets high
Watch the sun go down, paint an orange sky
Count the stars 'til I close my eyes...my sleepy eyes

Need to find a pillow for to get some rest
A sleeping armadillo seems to work the best
And if I haven't already confessed
I sure love livin' in the ol' Southwest...I must confess

        Oh, I'm a cactus cowboy
        The desert is my home
        I'm a cactus cowboy
Cross the desert I will roam...all by myself

I found out why the coyotes howl
And it's not for choir practice
In the pale moonlight it's kinda hard to see
And they keep sittin' on a thorny cactus!

        Oh, I'm a cactus cowboy
        The desert is my home
        I'm a cactus cowboy
Cross the desert I will roam...'cause I'm a cactus cowboy.

Mammals, Hurray!

Though the dinosaurs laughed at me
'Cause they were so big and I was "Tee-hee-hee"
They weren't prepared when disaster struck
The climate changed, they were out of luck
But I in my smallness and furry warm coat
Made the grade...they missed the boat...

        Invertabrates, fishes, amphibians, reptiles
All have had their glory day
Now is the time, now IS the time
        Of the mammals, hurray!

First came tiny water creatures
Jellyfish and squid...no boney features
Then came fish with strong backbones
Then a group born in water found new land homes
Next, reptiles with scaly skin,
Were born on land and fit right in...it's...

        Invertebrates, fishes, amphibians, reptiles
All have had their glory day
Now is the time, now IS the time
        Of the mammals, hurray!

The fossils show who came here first
A rocky record of life on Earth
We mammals have it made right now
So be happy and take a bow
But way before we came along
All of those creatures had sung their songs...so it's...

        Invertebrates, fishes, amphibians, reptiles
All have had their glory day
Now is the time, now IS the time
        Of the mammals, hurray!

But who will be next to have their day
It could be insects, scientists say.
So next time you see an ant or bee
Maybe you should give 'em a big "Howdy!"
I wouldn't laugh at them out loud
'Cause we might fall if we're too proud...it's... (Countermelody:)

Invertebrates, fishes, amphibians, reptiles Sheep, goats, lions, tigers, elephants,
All have had their glory day Camels, mice, orangutans, kangaroos,
Now is the time, now IS the time Cows, cats, dogs, horses, guinea pigs,
Of the mammals, hurray! Zebras, and bats...mammals, hurray!

Invertebrates, fishes, amphibians, reptiles Rabbits, rats, bears, beavers, manatees,
All have had their glory day Humans, giraffes, wallabies, chimpanzees,
Now is the time, now IS the time Wolves, whales, pigs, hippos, buffalo,
Of the mammals, hurray! Aardvarks and seals...mammals, hurray!

        Invertebrates, fishes, amphibians, reptiles
All have had their glory day
Now is the time, now IS the time
        Of the mammals, hurray!

        Invertebrates, fishes, amphibians, reptiles
All have had their glory day
Now is the time, now IS the time
        Of the mammals, hurray!

Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall

        Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall
Each year we see them all
We are glad for all the seasons
We like them all for different reasons

Spring brings a lot of things
Flowers in bloom and wedding rings
Budding leaves, longer days,
Butterflies and warm sun rays

        Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall
Each year we see them all
We are glad for all the seasons
We like them all for different reasons

Summer comes with tons of fun
Swimming, no school, and time to run
Lots of folks go on vacation
Taking trips across the nation

        Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall
Each year we see them all
We are glad for all the seasons
We like them all for different reasons

Fall is bright with falling leaves
Football, school, and pets with fleas
We can press some apple cider
On Halloween see spooks and spiders

        Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall
Each year we see them all
We are glad for all the seasons
We like them all for different reasons

Winter time has ice and snow
To ski and sled down hills we go
Build a snowman or an igloo
Have hot cocoa to help warm you

        Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall
Each year we see them all
We are glad for all the seasons
We like them all for different reasons
We like them all for different reasons
